History and Culture at Caffè Concerto Paszkowski
Established in 1903 and declared a National Monument in 1991, the splendid early 20th-century rooms of Caffè Concerto Paszkowski have always hosted musical evenings, gatherings, conferences, and fashion shows.
The café was a meeting place for Florentine intellectuals and visitors alike, including many key figures of early 20th-century Italian culture—names such as Giovanni Papini, Giuseppe Prezzolini, Ardengo Soffici, Dino Campana, Gabriele D’Annunzio, and later Eugenio Montale, Vasco Pratolini, Gaetano Salvemini, and Umberto Saba.
Breakfast is served daily between 8:00 and 11:00 (Saturdays 9:00–11:00). It includes a hot beverage, a fresh juice, a pastry of your choice, and a small savory item.
